Volunteer

"Volunteers are not paid - not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless."

Here at the Stormont Community Engagement Project we could agree more with that statement. It is our dedicated team of fantastic volunteers who help to make our programs fantastic and who ensure all those attending are kept safe and have a great time.

Without our volunteers we couldn't run our schemes and programs nor could the group operate. Everyone on our committee is a volunteer with us and our summer scheme team is made up of volunteers who support our two paid staff.

Do you think you could give up some of your time to help support the growth and development of the children and young people in the community? All of our volunteers are Access NI checked and receive training and support to complete the tasks they are assigned. We also have a comprehensive volunteer policy in place to ensure that our volunteers have as positive a time with us as the young people.
